Dear ECU Members and Prospective Members:
On behalf of the ECU Board of Directors and staff, we are excited to invite you to another year of growth and development with ECU! This year has been a year of changes for ECU: new teams, new software programs, new calendar year, new administrator and new board structure. We have very strong teams and our membership continues to grow. As our mission is to develop soccer players, a growing membership and strong teams are the best realization of that mission!
2017 will mark the first complete year of our new club calendar, keeping the same teams from spring to fall. We are excited for the improvements available due to this shift, particularly, having more time to form and announce teams in November/ December.
Please review Member Information 2017 Season for important information.
In order to cover increasing costs, ECU is implementing two fee increases this year. The first is that ECU will start passing on the processing costs of credit and check transactions through Active Network. This will save the club about $5,000 per year. The transactions are between 4-5% of the cost of a program. You will see that added to your registration at Checkout on League One/Active Network. Secondly, in 2012, we increased fees for the U11+ players by $30 per player while keeping the U9/U10 fees the same. We are now going to add the $30 per player to U9/ U10 fees to cover increased costs associated with the high level trainers added to these programs.

Our programs are successful due to the continued dedication of our staff and volunteers. Opportunities exist to join the ECU board as well as to have leadership roles within the Eau Claire tournament. Please contact Ashley Kuhl below if you are interested in those positions. We look forward to another great year at ECU!
