TIME: 5-6:00​ ​​P.M.

WHERE:​​ ​EAU​ ​CLAIRE​ ​SOCCER​ ​PARK,​ ​​3456​ ​CRAIG​ ​ROAD,​ ​MEET​ ​NEAR​ ​CONCESSIONS​ ​STAND

FEES:​​ ​$60/​ ​​ ​6​ ​WEEK​ ​SESSION-​ ​BRING​ ​SIZE​ ​4​ ​BALL,​ ​WATER​ ​BOTTLE,​ ​CLEATS​ ​AND​ ​SHIN​ ​GUARDS

The​ ​ECU​ ​Youth​ ​Academy​ ​encourages​ ​learning​ ​for​ ​players​ ​ages​ ​7-9​ ​without​ ​the​ ​pressure​ ​of​ ​”travel​ ​soccer”. ​The​ ​focus is​ ​in​ ​developing​ ​each​ ​player’s​ ​skills​ ​and​ ​allowing​ ​them​ ​to​ ​advance​ ​at​ ​their​ ​own​ ​rate.​ ​​ ​Players​ ​will​ ​learn​ ​to​ ​be competitive​ ​and​ ​handle​ ​game​ ​situations​ ​with​ ​small-sided​ ​activities. Coach​ ​Jim​ ​and​ ​the​ ​Academy​ ​crew​ ​just​ ​wrapped​ ​up a​ ​fun​ ​spring/summer​ ​session​ ​where​ ​players​ ​grew​ ​measurably​ ​in​ ​skill.​ ​​ ​Please​ ​join​ ​us​ ​as​ ​we​ ​welcome​ ​the​ ​next Academy​ ​group​ ​along​ ​with​ ​Coaches​ ​Matt​ ​and​ ​Tina​ ​Frank.

ELIGIBILITY​:​​ ​​Boys​ ​and​ ​girls​ ​born​ ​in​ ​2009​ ​and​ ​2010​ ​are​ ​eligible.

FEES​ ​AND​ ​DURATION​:​​ ​​3​ ​sessions​ ​are​ ​offered​ ​during​ ​the​ ​year:​ ​​ ​Fall,​ ​Winter,​ ​and​ ​Spring.​ ​​ ​Players​ ​will​ ​sign​ ​up​ ​for each​ ​session​ ​separately​ ​and​ ​can​ ​elect​ ​to​ ​do​ ​the​ ​sessions​ ​independently.​ ​Players​ ​in​ ​their​ ​first​ ​session​ ​per​ ​year​ ​will receive​ ​an​ ​Academy​ ​training​ ​shirt​ ​and​ ​a​ ​size​ ​4​ ​ball.​ ​​ ​Fall​ ​is​ ​a​ ​shorter​ ​session​ ​which​ ​starts​ ​with​ ​”Intro​ ​to​ ​Academy”. Winter​ ​session​ ​is​ ​offered​ ​in​ ​the​ ​off-season​ ​and​ ​is​ ​designed​ ​to​ ​keep​ ​up​ ​skills.​ ​​ ​Cost​ ​to​ ​rent​ ​ECISC​ ​indoor​ ​space accounts​ ​for​ ​a​ ​higher​ ​winter​ ​rate.​ ​Spring​ ​is​ ​a​ ​slightly​ ​longer​ ​session​ ​with​ ​an​ ​increased​ ​focus​ ​on​ ​7v7.

2017​ ​Fall​ ​Session:​ ​​Registration​ ​is​ ​open​ ​now​ ​for​ ​the​ ​2017​ ​Fall​ ​Session.​ ​​ ​9/8-10/13.
2018​ ​Winter​ ​Session:​ ​​​ ​Indoor​ ​Sports​ ​Center,​ ​dates/times​ ​TBD-​ ​1​ ​hour​ ​sessions​ ​mid​ ​Jan.​ ​-​ ​mid​ ​March.
2018​ ​Spring​ ​Session:​ ​​1​ ​hour​ ​sessions​ ​at​ ​Soccer​ ​Park​ ​from​ ​early​ ​May​ ​through​ ​June,​ ​skipping​ ​Memorial​ ​Day​ ​and​ ​9U tournament​ ​dates.​ ​​ ​Dates/times​ ​TBD.

New Player Registrations for 2006-2009 Birth Years

Registration
– 2008/09; Space is guaranteed provided that registration is completed by July 15th.
– 2006/07; Space is based on availability with existing teams. Please register by July 1st.

ECU Calendar Year
– Fall season: Late August through mid-October. Teams play MYSA league on Saturday/Sunday and select 1-2 tournaments.
– Winter training: Optional programs available
– Spring/Summer season: April through early July. 2008/09 Birth-year teams select 3-5 tournaments, including the ECU tournament in early June. 2006/07 Birth-year teams select tournaments and participate in MYSA league play (week night games from May thru July.)

Cost
– 2008/09 – $370. Uniform, non-ECU Tournament Entry Fees and Winter training fee not included.
– 2006/07 – $505. Uniform, non-ECU Tournament Entry Fees and Winter training fee not included.

Spring Goalkeeper Training for Members

Spring Goalkeeper Training for Members

The ECU board has put together goalkeeper training for the spring. The sessions are split into two groups U11/U12 and U13/U14 and run for 8 Sunday, starting on April 23rd through mid-June, skipping Memorial Day and the ECU tournament. It is not required to attend all sessions. Please see the registration page for more information and to register.

These sessions are for ECU members only. There is a small cost of $20 per player for all 8 sessions to help cover the costs associated.

U11/U12 are birth years 2006 and 2005. U13/U14 are birth years 2004 and 2003.

Please register before the first session.

High School Girls 2017 Summer Season

High School Girls 2017 Summer Season

Eau Claire United Soccer Club is pleased to announce a great opportunity for Chippewa Valley High School girls to improve their soccer skills while having fun this summer!

Available to high school girls birth years 1998-2002

Teams
Subject to actual registration numbers, our plan is to form 2 teams this summer. Formation will be based on a combination of skill and age. Teams will train 2-3 times per week. Training will be offered beginning as soon as the high school JV seasons are complete. Teams will select tournaments based upon availability of players. Kimamo Wahome & Scott Derusha will be coaching.

Cost
Registration fee of $225 includes Club Fees, Coach Fees and Coach Travel for up to 3 tournaments. Tournament Registration Fees are extra. $40 is due prior to tryouts and formation with the balance due by May 15th. – Uniforms must be purchased new this year for $85. This is the start of a two-year uniform cycle. Generally, members are able to resell uniforms within the first year if this is your last year with the club.

Next Steps
1. Register here before tryouts on March 5th. You will pay a non-refundable $40 registration fee.

2. Attend tryouts: Sunday, March 5th: 2-5 pm, Check-in starting at 1:30 pm.
*If you are not able to tryout, it is important to register by March 5th and email Shamus Funk & Ashley Kuhl to tell them you will not be at tryouts.

3. Teams will be announced by March 12th.

4. After team announcements are made, you will receive instructions on how to accept or decline your position and order uniforms.

5. Both teams will need a volunteer team manager to help get started right away with selecting tournament weekends.
