About ECU

Welcome to the Eau Claire United Soccer Club (ECU).

The Eau Claire United Soccer Club is a non-profit organization.

ECU is a volunteer run organization that was established in 1995 to improve the development of soccer players through coaching and increased competition.

The Club plays in the Minnesota Youth Soccer Association (MYSA) league so we are a traveling club. Half of our league games are in the Twin Cities area and the other half are in Eau Claire. Our season is Spring/Summer. The league season usually starts around mid-May and could go to the end of July. Many league teams participate in the Minnesota State tournament.

Teams do have games during the school year, however, most games can be rescheduled for early summer and played once school is out. Some teams start practicing indoor as early as January.

We also have some teams that play Fall league and some that only play tournaments in the fall.

Since ECU is a competitive soccer club, there are try-outs in the spring to form teams for the following fall and summer. Our U-9 and U-10 team evaluations are a little different than our older ages because they are evaluated and split to make teams that are equal in ability. U-11 and older teams are evaluated and put on teams based on their skill level.

ECU Board meetings are the 4th Monday of the month at the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center. If you want to know what is going on, this is a great place to find out. We also have a website, www.ecusoccer.org that includes meeting minutes, policies and general information about ECU. There is also a newsletter that is emailed to all members and is also available on the website.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact our Club Administrator, Ashley Doda, at 830-0782 or administrator@ecusoccer.org.

We welcome your participation in the Eau Claire United Soccer Club!!!
