Winter Youth Academy – For 7, 8, and 9 Year Olds

The ECU Youth Academy encourages learning for players ages 7-9 without the pressure of “travel soccer”. The focus is in developing each player’s skills and allowing them to advance at their own rate. Players will learn to be competitive and handle game situations in informal matches. The ECU Youth Academy is not a league and players are encouraged to also play in recreational leagues.

WHO: ​Youth soccer players born in 2009/10 (Academy Only) and U9 players born in 2008

WHEN: ​Saturdays 9-10:30 A.M. Turf: 1/14, 1/28, 2/4, 2/11, 3/4
Tuesdays 6:30-7:30 P.M. Sport Court: January 17th through March 7th

WHERE: Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center

FEES: $130/8 Week Session

ELIGIBILITY​:​ ​Boys and girls turning 7, 8 and 9 in 2017 are eligible.

FEES AND DURATION​:​ ​Three sessions are offered during the year: Spring, Fall & Winter. Players will sign up for each session separately and can elect to do the sessions independently. Players in their first session per year will receive an Academy training shirt and a size 4 ball. Winter session is the final of three sessions offered in the soccer year. 8 weeks total. Fee $130. ​(Cost to rent ECISC indoor space accounts for higher winter rate)

ECU 2017 Winter Training Programs

Eau Claire United is offering Winter Training again this year at the Eau Claire Indoor Sports Center. All sessions will be under the direction of highly qualified ECU coaches and trainers. Program ages are based upon age groups for the 2017 season: U9 (2008 birth-year) to U16 (2001 birth-year.)
